The NOCO/SOWY chapter is comprised of security industry professionals working in and around the Front Range of Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming.  From Longmont to Laramie and beyond, our diverse group takes the time to meet formally once a month in various locations in the Front Range.

The Chapter holds approximately 9-10 meetings a year (with a summer break), typically as a working lunch.  Meetings can involve a seminar presentation on a relevant security topic, or a presentation of a security operation at a high profile facility.  Meetings within the past few years have included tours of the US Mint, Invesco Field, Coors Field, Medical Center of the Rockies, Fort Collins Police Department, Larimer County Detention Center, Denver International Airport and United Airlines, and Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

Good relationships with our nearby sister chapters encourage cross-over attendance and joint efforts in the region.

The Chapter culture is a relaxed and friendly environment consisting of networking, education and fun.  The chapter encourages and welcomes member participation on the various boards and committees.  We are always seeking new members and new ideas for educational venues for future meetings.

If you’d like to attend a meeting, or view our calendar of events, access resources, or view event pics, please contact us for more information.  The chapter does NOT require dues for attendance!

The ASIS International N. Colorado/S Wyoming Chapter #230 has approximately 45 to 50 member affiliations.  Founded in June of 1999, the Chapter represents a diverse group of Security Professionals, from many different industries.  The chapter has several members who hold certifications in any 1 of the 3 ASIS certification programs (CPP, PCI, PSP).
